Apple Chill

If you don't live in the Chapel Hill/ Carrboro area already and don't know about Apple Chill-please come into town today.

Apple Chill is Chapel Hill's annual spring street fair. From late morning to early evening about 50-55,000 people come in to shop for local art/jewelery, eat, and generally have a good time. There is no admission fee and lots of different musicians play concerts for free. The only other time this many people flood Franklin Street is when of the UNC Tarheel teams wins a national championship.

If you've missed Apple Chill 2005, then keep an eye out for next spring. But before that also keep your ears open for news about FestiFall, Chapel Hill's fall street festivial.
