110 Lantern Way

There's a new listing in Whispering Hills. 110 Lantern Way. Listed at $132,900, it is 1305 sq ft ($101 a sq/ft), two levels.

The real question is: does this back up to the apartments or the trailer park. That's right I said it. SOME OF WHISPERING HILLS BACKS UP TO AN APARTMENT COMPLEX OR TRAILER PARK. You heard it here. If you're thinking about buying in Whispering Hills it's something you should be aware of.

Does this mean the properties are impaired? I don't think so. I feel that as you shop around keep in mind that the features of a home that you love or don't mind may be something the next buyer may not want. Or they may be something they are ok with. Either way, Whispering Hills is a good example of how some home features can make or break a home for some people.

810 Roberts St

810 Roberts is a small A-frame home off of Merritt Mill Rd. At 832 sq/ft, for $129,900 it is now the least expensive detached home in Carrboro that is move-in ready.

Having seen the home, I would like to point out that move in ready does not mean
'perfect condition'. This home appears to need some serious up-dating (and perhaps a dose of interior design).

That being said, if your budget is less than $150,000, then this may be one of your last chances to get into a detached home in Carrboro.

Village Square #E4

Remember 119 Fidelity? The 850 sq/ft condo for $124,900 that I mention had been lingering on the market?

Well, there's new Village Square (#E4) on the market, that seems to be identical, for the same price. It will be interesting to see which one goes first...Showings don't start until 4/11/05, so perhaps the big decision will be which unit is in better condition.

100 Lilac Drive- Under Contract

They are going quick.

100 Lilac Dr is under contract. I could lecture you again about how fast the market can move in Carrboro, but I think, it should be pretty clear.
